Draw Near

Mothers in a mood today
I’m cowering in a corner.
Mothers in a mood today,
she’ll shatter her delicate flower.

The sky shines bright, so crystal clear,
the angels of heaven sing but neither I or this
dim house-hold can hear anything.

Mothers in a mood today
I’m cowering in a corner.
Mothers in a mood today,
she’ll shatter her delicate flower.

Her roaming comes nearer, she’s coming closer
with every ounce of her menacing power.
As I stand alone with all my might, not taken back,
too tired to fright. Release me from this miserable life!

Mothers in a mood today,
I’m cowering in a corner.
Mothers in a mood today,
she’ll shatter her delicate flower.

Leave me now-forever;
I have many things to do.
I can’t decide just what I’ll try, the gun,
the knife or noose.

Mothers in a mood today,
I’m cowering in the corner.
Mothers in a mood today,
she’ll shatter her delicate
flower.
