Asexual Emotion

I know I’ll never love you
as most young lovers do.
I’ll never kiss, caress or miss
the way young lovers do.
This emotion that I harbour,
this harsh lifeless abyss
cannot give you affection
the way which you so wish.
Alone I always have been
and alone I would prefere;
and never am I lonely for
you nor other souls.
The thought of sweet emotion
the idea of a kiss is not in my
agenda, not something I would
think.
Asexual affection is all you’ll
ever find; a loyal kind devotion
but love it tis not mine.
